Almost half of this book spans over Crick's life in Iraq and Deacon's life in Leeve Oaks. My copy of this book arrived in the mail on Saturday morning and I finished reading it on Sunday morning. This is a great book on a dry subject. At some point, it reminded me of the beautiful story of "Cold Mountain" by Charles Frasier. Most of the book is Canadian chauvinism, including how wonderful is the (now ex-) Prime Minister. This novel was very well written and very entertaining..
