There is no mention of how the Shadow will come to his hour, or what will happen when his hour comes. I'm thinking that these are all things you can do without an Aspi husband and then you can come home to a peaceful empty household. He says "I learned that people get emotional when they're sick and that fear and anger and despair aren't abnormal; they're a natural feature of sickness. Good but not Great.. The reader observes the narrator as the narrator observes his world. And you will also find the photos and models to be clear and serene, not grim at all.
