Inland Fishes of Massachusetts (Natural History of New England Series)

Alan Sokal made the mistake of announcing his hoax, causing his paper to be identified as a virulent entity and shut out from further damage. Given that a new pipe steamer runs around $1100, I love that she's written up a means for making one from stuff you can get at a thrift store--even the most budget-strapped dyer could make one of these. I can't wait to read about Liam next. Spunky and full of life, Grayson loves superheroes, which is fitting, for he truly is a superhero bravely dealing with his fear of bullies at school. All the years, Deacon kept Crick grounded, and dreamed for the younger guy to have a better life. I know this to be true because I've known my husband since high school and that's been 30 years. Posamentier uses a lot of Geometry examples in this book and they seem very useful for teaching geometry. The title directly refers to Brussels, but indirectly to New York, and the implication is (again, unless I'm missing the point) that New York has survived and thrived
