I'm so glad I read this book. Love is patient. I watched the movie and it was, in my opinion, entertaining. I was expecting a book that offered some "you are not alone" insights along side "this can be a positive journey" advise. Frankly, the book feels lazy to me. A laundry list of all that can go wrong. I would not have purchased this book if I had know that it was written by a person who has Asperger's. As his caregiver, I have often felt frantic trying to organize his medications, supplements, and doctors' appointments while searching the internet for some sort of "cure." Jeff Kane very gently brought me back to earthand to my husband's immediate need for my compassion and calmness. Wow, let me say wow.
